I am creating a new screen using VBTools. I have an unbound textbox. I want to allow user to enter the Period to Post value in this field. I have set the Field Class to "114 - Period Number". Now when I enter the date I get the message:

System Message 23
Warning - Period is not the current fiscal period.

How can I disable this warning without setting the Field Class to "None"?

I am getting the same message when I try to load transactions in Journal Transactions screen using the Solomon object model code. Is there a way to disable this warning message?

You need to dim your SivApplication object With Events and then handle that message properly.

Ex:
Private WithEvents sivApp as SIVApplication

Private Sub sivApp_Message (......)
Select Case MessageType
Case sivMessageType.sivMsgOk
MessageResponse = sivMessageResponse.sivMsgRspOk
End Select
End Sub

Justin, how do you actually call this sub in your code?

It is the message event of the sivapplication object, meaning that when an sl message pops, this event is fired.
