hi there,

I need advice, info, help , etc.

normally, We use SL 6.x. But since some computers change into windows 7, they can't access SL.

my questions are:
1. I read that we can't use SL 6.x into windows 7, is it true? cause I tried to install, and it is done. but can't access the database. is this the issue so that they said can't install SL 6.x into windows 7?
2. since SL 7 different with 6.x, some users will confuse when we change into SL 7, that's why we still use SL 6.x; can I install SL 7 into windows 7, and then access database that to be used for SL 6.x, with read-only access?
3. If we totally change into SL 7, do I need to upgrade sql server? we still use SQL 2000. thanks before

1) SL 6.5 is supported on Windows 7 (32-bit).

2) You cannot use SL 6.5 database with SL 7.0 application.

3) SL 7.0 is supported on SQL Server 2005 / 2008
