Hello
I am having a client install issue with SL.
I have mapped the server location of the workstation files.
My user account belongs to the domain admin group and is a local admin.
I can run the setup process and I receive NO errors. In fact everything looks like it completes just fine.
I have rebooted after the install.
When I go to start programs, MS Dynamics SL is not in the programs list. If I go to c:> program files I do not see a folder with the program files.
When I go to control panel and look at the installed programs it is (YES) listed as an installed program.
The server is Win 2008.
I installed SL FP1 with SP3 on the server
The client is Windows 7
Any ideas? Am I nuts or something?

Kind regards,

Version 7.x of SL does not create a program group (as did the previous versions). The Microsoft Dynamics SL should be listed when you click on the Start "button" in Windows. To truely verify that it did install... check your installed programs list in control panel and check for the Database Maintenance program listed in the Administrative Tools.
