Hi All,

I really hope you can help.   I have installed GP10 in Windows 2008 using SQL 2005 SP3.  I have create a client installation package and installed it on Windows 7 and Windows XP  remote PC's.

I have created a new local user called Mark for user 1.

Locally on the server i can logon as "sa" and Mark OK

remotely I can only logon as "sa".  I get a SQL error for Mark "Login failed for user 'Mark'. [CLIENT: 172.18.32.47]"

When I try a ODBC connection "sa" works fine but Mark does not.

If I create a local SQL user called Mark1 (not via GP10) then I can connect remotely OK via ODBC but as it is not a GP10 user I cannot logon to GP10.

I have checked remote connection are on via teh Surface Area tool which is set for named Pipes and TCP.  All Firewalls are off.

The remote PC is not part of the same domain as it is in a workgroup.  The connection is over a VPN but access is fully open.

Please please please help and Merry Christmas to all

Lee.
