    Posted: August 28 2009 at 5:56pm

When trying to delete users logged in (who shouldn't be), the following message comes up:

A get/change operation on table "SY_Current_Activity" failed.  A record was already locked.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about Dynamics or SQL, we've had GP for years but our company has downsized so much that we no longer have an IT person who knows this stuff.

Can someone help provide detailed instructions how to delete these users?

Thanks in advance.

Follow steps below:

1. Go to Start --> Programs --> Microsoft SQL Server ==> Enterprise Manager
2. Navigate the databases folder and click on tables.
3. Right click Activity table and open all rows.
4. Click on the logged user and delete the entire row.

Thank you so much.  I was finally able to delete some users logged in since 2006!

Have a great weekend.
