Good day.

We remotely connect to our GP local install via terminal services - remote desktop. Our GP database is located on another windows 2003 SBS server with an active directory. However, the remote desktop users and the terminal server mentioned above are members of a different active directory (our main AD).

I created users with domain power user priveleges in our AD. They do not have problems in connecting, however, when they run Dynamics GP9, they couldnt log in. The error displayed is similar when you issued an invalid password. Why is this so?

When I upgraded my users to domain admins, they do not have a problem logging in anymore. Now, I do not like giving them domain admin rights. How can I set it so that they only have normal domain user rights?

* GP Users authenticates via MSSQL, not via AD. Remote desktop user account is authenticated through AD. Also, I know this may be idiotic, but the mssql username is exactly the same as my AD username. But note that the SQL server is on a different active directory (not containing any users)

A little idea would help.. Thanks
