    Posted: April 23 2008 at 11:42am
I'm doing some consulting work for a company that I found has a batch open from May of 2007 until March of 2007 (Entries have been posted month to month in this batch).
Is there a way of breaking down posting only a portion of the batch at a time.  For example:
Posting 2007 and then 2008 (Under a different transactiondate)?

Any help is great.
Thanks.

You could open each transaction, and assign them to a different batch based on date.  If you change the settings in Posting Setup to Post by Transaction Date, it will look at the transaction date and not the batch date if you are posting in Detail.
