install problem

when i start microsoft dynamics i get this message
 
"your sql server has not been named. contact your system admin"
 
i check the odbc connection it on tcp/ip and on port 1433
 
any idea what should i do

You will need to run a few statements in SQL Query Analyzer to update the name.
What version SQL Server are you on?
