Question regarding password encryption:

We recently installed GP 10 and SQL Server 2005.  During the install the DBA used the physical server name as the data source name.  On the client installs, for the ODBC source, we used the same name.  Everything works great.  Now we want to change the database name to an alias to facilitate our DR process.  If we do that user passwords will no longer work.  What are the steps to make this change?

Go to run, type ODBCAD32
Double click the server you used to find (Normally "Dynamics GP") and fill your new information when requested.
