Dear pema01,
Use GP Dynamics Utilities. Do not delete physical database from SQL Server manually  ( if you don;t know the trick ^_)

First using GP, go to Tools>>Utilities>>System>>Delete Company
 
Select the company & delete it.
 
Then using SQL Server, Go to enterprise manager, and delete the database correspoding to the company.
